When sorrow comes, most turn to alcohol, drugs, sex, or suicide. None of these give real relief. Of course suicide is permanent and seems like the answer. It isn't and never was. Sure it's the easy way out but the result is forever and deadly.
When sorrow comes to you, stop and think about what you can do, not what you can't. Even thought it's hard, think about the good times you've had with family and friends. Think about the good, not the bad, even though that may seem impossible to do. I know, I've been there.
What can you do? You can talk with someone you know. Tell them what's going on. If they're a real friend, they will listen. Be careful of advice. If they have the same problem, be cautious unless they are qualified to help you and I don't mean a psychobabblist either. Why?
Psychology is made by man and the mind is too complex for any human to really understand. Psychology will help you "work through it". That term is very misleading and untrue. They do not help you work through it. Psychology is brainwashing, plain and simple. No matter the jargon they use, that's what it is. I've been there too. Man cannot know how the mind really works except in a very limited sense and psychology "trains" you to ignore the problem, not solve it.
When you want to solve any problem, you must find the right thing to do, not guesswork which psychology really is. When someone you love leaves, regardless of the reason, you will feel more pain than many can imagine. It hurts. It's okay to cry, whether you are a man or woman. A man doesn't cry, is baloney. Men do cry when they hurt badly. It eases the psyche and lets the hurt come out. No, it doesn't solve the problem but it helps ease it.
Talk to a minister. He can advise you far better than any therapist can. He's trained in dealing with the inner person or soul. Therapists ignore the soul. They have no idea how to work with that.
When the pain comes, you feel it in your heart, physically. It is there and seldom goes away. I'm here to tell you that you can receive peace and ease of the pain but not from anything man can do.
How do I know about this? I've been there. To understand better, here is my story.
When we married, my wife and I had nothing but each other to hold onto. We were far happier as well. As time went along, we obtained a home, two vehicles, and many other material things. Then one day, she left. we never argued or fought. There was never anyone else. It happened because of debts and satan's influence. That's right the devil. He is just as real and you or I and he will cause you problems, serious ones. He wants your life. He doesn't care about you. He wants to see you dead.
When my wife left, I had to take a real look at my own life, my marriage, everything. What I found shocked me. Without realizing it, we had invited satan into our home through movies that promoted witchcraft, a very serious sin, and magic and such. These are some of the devil's best tools today. Don't kid yourself. They aren't harmless. They are deadly to you, your life, and your marriage.
Suddenly, things started to go wrong. It was satan's influence that did this to us. He got us to make wrong decisions and we are paying for it now. I destroyed those things from my home and felt immediate relief but not relief from the horrible sorrow I felt. That took getting on my knees to God above and letting him in for real.
Being human, it is hard to truly trust anyone that's human. I had to swallow my pride and trust in God. His response was to give me real peace and ease of the pain. It is still with me now, though sorrow does come. The peace comes every time to dull it and it goes away.
No, I am human and I miss my wife terribly.
However, I must wait for God to do his work first. That's the hardest part; complete trust. I had to let go and let God work. He has and I am becoming what he wants me to be. My wife and I wanted to start a business and make tons of money. Wrong idea! All the money in the world can't buy real love or joy. We have lost so much because of not putting God first in our lives.
For those that aren't saved, it's ten times worse. Many will reject Christ and die in sin. The payment, later, will be eternal. Death isn't the last step. It's the first toward being lost forever. I know that many will reject this and that is up to them but Christ is the answer. Why? Because he knows everything about us and how to solve those problems and take care of the sorrow. He can and will help you but you must accept his help and him to get the benefits he can give you.
This is what I did. I turned to Him and he worked immediately. Understand that it may not happen as fast as you want it to. God works in his own time, not ours. Time means nothing to him, only to us because of our limited lifespan. If we put our entire trust in Him, He will work things out to our best interest even if we don't think so at first. I can guarantee that from my own experience. The sooner you accept Christ, the faster He can work it out.
Satan will try, immediately, to turn you away and cause every kind of problem that you can imagine. Reject him and use Christ on him and he has to flee away.
There is no other way but Christ to be happy and fulfilled in this life and the life to come. Yes, there is an eternity but it is our choice where we wind up. Let go and let God work. That's the best advice anyone can give you.
Yes, you should speak with someone that is trained and can help you undersatnd why things are happening. Most of the time it is our wrong choices that cause the problems in the first place.

Who are you to say you were called to be a pastor or minister? God did not say that. We are told, in scripture, that you are to shut up, sit down, and be quiet in the church. Why have you not obeyed? Why do you walk in your own lusts? You follow that which is NOT ordained of God.
Did not God tell you, in Genesis, that your desire shall be to your own husband and that he shall rule over you? Why do you not obey him? Where is it written that you shall have authority over any man or the church? It is NOT. Christ told the apostles that what they bound on earth shall be bound in heaven. Why do you women not listen and obey?
You walk around with your dyed hair, makeup, swinging your hips to entice men to lust after you, showing all you can to lure men into whoredom. Your own daughters shall stand up against you in that day and condemn you to hell.
Your sons, you teach to be namby pamby girlish things, not men. You do not obey the commandments of the apostles that say, "Teach the younger women to be chaste, clean, obedient to their own husbands, stayers at home."
There is NO EXCUSE! When you say you follow Christ, but then manipulate your husband at home, you ARE A LIAR! The truth is not in you. You walk around lusting after men, sex, and power. You pervert the truth to suit your own ways and it shall be recompensed upon your own head.
Judgment has come to you. What will you do then? Run to your lusts and pray for them to save you. Run to the lesbians, whom you follow, and get them to save you! Run to the feminist whores and have them save you!

You idolatrous women! Who do you think you are? You have destroyed your nation by your lust for power and control. Your daughters are harlots, your sons weak willed and corrupt and violent. Your marriages are failing miserably. You share most of the blame. You have no honesty in you.
You run to everything that will make you look pretty. You are fake, from head to toe. You are false teachers and your sins shall come back upon you shortly. Where is it written that you should be in charge? That is nowhere in God's word and you know it. Yes, your pastors and ministers are lukewarm and frightened of speaking out against your sins. I am NOT! What I say is found in God's Word, not in som pamphlet by feminists or satan worshippers.
God said, "Obey me or I will come unto you with the sword."
Look at your country and see what you have done! Look at the woes that have come upon you and know that you brought them upon yourself. You are to blame, not men. You keep not your wedding vows, if it doesn't suit you. You throw promises away as trash. You shall be repaid ten fold! Weep and howl for the terror that shall come upon you. Cry to those that brainwashed you into perversion and sin. You can turn away but you choose not to do so.
Repent or Perish! Turn back to the Lord and he will forgive you, but you must live it.
Will you stand before Christ and be judged guilty. You will if you don't repent and follow the first truth as given by the apostles and Christ. It's up to you.

Where is it written, in the WORD that you should cave in to your wives? Where is it written That you have to ask your wife's permission to act? You fail your God, your wives, your nation, your sons and daughters, and your marriages. You honor not your wives above all others but God. You honor sports, sex, lust, pornography and filth above all things. You claim to be men but are nothing. Many of you claim to follow Christ, but let you women control the church and you. You are false men, weak willed and namby pamby. How can you control the church when you can't even control your own households?
You do not lead, through Christ, as commanded. You do not do that which is just and righteous in God's eyes. You run to hurry home, after church, to watch sinful shows and that includes sports, where the commercials show sinfully dressed women that entice you into evil thoughts.
You listen to the devil's music on your radios. you are FALSE MEN. You shall lead the household, not your wife. If she does not that which is written in scripture, she lies to God and is false and follows the devil not the Lord God Almighty.
If you do not do that which is your duty and responsibility to do, you lie to God and yourself and you will be repaid. Your sons are weaklings and girlish looking. They pierce their flesh like drug users. They have no Godliness within them because your refuse to teach them the truth and control your home. Where is God within you, when you teach false religion and false teachings? Where is God within you when you teach the lie of Santa Claus to your innocent children adn get them to believe in a lie. Lie not or perish!
You have fallen by the wayside as it was written of you because you do not follow and obey the Lord. Because you allowed perverts to take control of your country, you have what you see around you, adultery, idolatry, violence, perversion, and sin. You are to blame! You have failed! You walk around lusting after women, who show you everything they have to entice you. You ogle women on television and in magazines. You allow the devil to enter your home with violent video games, books, and movies. You allow satanic witchcraft books to enter your home. God said, "You shall not suffer a witch to live."
Why do you not reject such things? It is written that in the last days, the women shall rule over you men and your own children shall be your oppressors. It is here. Take back control and obey God or perish in the flames of hell. You have little time.
Throw out the corrupt, perverted Supreme Court which promotes all forms of sin as okay. Throw out the corrupt politicians. You have no time left to you.
If not, then God will judge accordingly very soon and you shall see your country all but destroyed. It is your choice. Repent or perish! You are shameful to other men around the world for caving in to women. Even they know that women are not to rule over men, though they are sinful and unbelieving. What did your forefathers believe? Did they say, "Let the women rule over us?" NO! They believed in honesty, truth, morals, and values, which you don't have, regardless of what you say.
Weep and how for the miserises taht you have and what shall soon come. You are to blame. Cry out for your sports stars to save you. Beg the harlots and perverts to save you! Cry out to your money and power to save you! Nothing, but Christ can save you from destruction. Repen, turn to God and live. Repent not and die! Those are your only two options. It's up to you.
